Teams boycott games over police shootings

The Milwaukee Bucks remained in their locker room for their playoff game against the Orlando Magic Wednesday in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. The boycott comes after a police officer shot 29-year-old Jacob Blake on Sunday in Kenosha, Wis. The NBA later postponed two other playoff games, while player boycotts led to the cancellation of three WNBA games, three Major League Baseball contests, and five Major League Soccer matches on Wednesday.

Teen arrested in Kenosha protest shooting

Police took 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse of Illinois into custody on Wednesday on suspicion of killing two people in Kenosha, Wis. Cellphone video from Tuesday night showed a young man walking through the middle of a street and opening fire on protesters.

Wisconsin protests turn deadly

Shots fired during the third night of violent protests in Kenosha, Wis., left two people dead and at least one injured, according to police. Protesters had gathered Tuesday outside the courthouse, where they threw fireworks and water bottles at police. Officers responded with tear gas and armored vehicles to control the crowd.
