Prison guards chained Pakistani Christian Asia Bibi by her wrists and neck in a squalid cell while other prisoners taunted her, according to her newly published book.

“You already know my story through the media,” she said. “But you are far from understanding my daily life in prison or my new life.”

International | Chinese officials may be underreporting the spread of the disease

CHINA: As of Sunday officials reported 5,142 people infected with the coronavirus in Wuhan, the locked-down city where the outbreak began. But researchers said the rate of outbreak suggests the virus is spreading much faster than Chinese officials are reporting, and cases in Wuhan may top 75,000.

Trump adds countries to visa restrictions

The Trump administration announced Friday it was curbing immigration from six countries that failed to meet minimum security standards. Immigrants from Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar (also known as Burma), Nigeria, Sudan, and Tanzania will face restrictions in obtaining some types of visas, effective Feb. 21.
