If Fox Sports had fired football analyst Craig James because he went off on an anti-homosexual tirade during a game broadcast, that would be fair. But when James in 2012 said gay civil unions are wrong, homosexuality is “a choice,” and gays will “have to answer to the Lord for their actions” (as will we all), he was running for the 2012 Texas GOP nomination for the U.S. Senate.

After two-and-a-half years on the job, U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for International Religious Freedom Suzan Johnson Cook has resigned. Her last day at the U.S. State Department was Wednesday, according to sources.
