President Donald Trump’s physician reported the president was doing “very well” on Saturday morning after checking into Walter Reed Hospital on Friday evening to undergo treatment for the coronavirus.

Elias Gannage, a 23-year-old voter in Virginia, said he plans to vote straight-ticket Republican—except for the top of the ballot. An evangelical Christian, Gannage said he feels he can’t vote for Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden because of his support for abortion. But he also said he can’t vote for President Donald Trump, whom he called an “immoral candidate.”

“What I’m communicating to my own party is that [their candidate] is not good enough,” Gannage said.

Commission plans to revise debate format

Moderator Chris Wallace of Fox News fought to maintain control during the first presidential debate between President Donald Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden in Cleveland on Tuesday night. The next day, the Commission on Presidential Debates said it planned to change the rules for the next debate “to ensure a more orderly discussion of the issues.”
