Four major medical organizations representing more than 30,000 health professionals sent a letter to the Trump administration last week urging it to continue to uphold the scientific definition of sex in federal law and policy—a definition that aligns with God’s design as expressed in the Bible of two distinct and complementary sexes.

Time honors ‘guardian’ journalists as Person of the Year

Time magazine on Tuesday designated jailed and murdered journalists around the world as its 2018 Person of the Year. The magazine called the group “guardians” in the “war on truth” and selected four journalists to represent them: slain Saudi columnist Jamal Khashoggi; arrested Filipina reporter Maria Ressa; Reuters reporters Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo, who have been detained in Myanmar, also known as Burma, for nearly a year; and the staff of the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Md., where five people were shot and killed at the newspaper’s offices in June.

Starbucks finally bans porn

Starbucks announced last week it will start blocking porn sites on its in-store Wi-Fi service in 2019. The move comes after years of pressure on the coffee giant to set up filters to block explicit content.
