Next week, House Republicans will start work on legislation to authorize a lawsuit against the president for overstepping his executive powers.

“In my view, the president has not faithfully executed the laws,” said House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, who is leading the effort.

The 9th International Conference on Climate Change kicked off Monday in Las Vegas, featuring some of the most best-known skeptics of human-caused global warming. Among the speakers at the 3-day conference is Lord Christopher Monckton. He was once a policy advisor to former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Now he is the chief policy adviser at the Science and Public Policy Institute in Virginia. He spoke with me on the telephone from the conference.

Why are child immigrants fleeing Central America alone?

The United States is seeing an alarming surge in illegal border crossings, including thousands of children making the dangerous trek without a parent or guardian. This week, officials confirmed U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is holding in a warehouse in Nogales, Ariz., about 750 minors who were caught crossing the border illegally from Mexico into Texas.
