FDA bows to abortion industry pressure on RU-486 regulations

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has loosened its guidelines for the administration of the abortifacient RU-486, a move pro-life advocates say puts abortionists’ profit margins ahead of women’s health and safety.

The agency notified RU-486 manufacturer Danco Laboratories about the guideline change in a letter sent Tuesday. It claims the new rules will allow effective and safe termination of pregnancies.

Florida cuts flow of tax money to abortion providers

Florida became the latest state to cut taxpayer funding for abortion when Gov. Rick Scott on Friday signed into law a bill expanding abortion regulations in the state.

Lawmakers in Utah and Arizona also passed new abortion restrictions in the last week, highlighting the ongoing state-level push to protect unborn children.
