Planned Parenthood’s ironic statement on race relations
Abortion | The nation’s No. 1 killer of African-Americans tries to stand for justice

Each week, The World and Everything in It features a “Culture Friday” segment, in which Executive Producer Nick Eicher discusses the latest cultural news with John Stonestreet, president of the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview. Here is a summary of this week’s conversation.
On the heels of multiple police shootings—and shootings of police—Planned Parenthood published a shocking social media statement.
“You deserve to parent your child without fear that he or she will be hurt or killed. Freedom from violence is reproductive justice,” read the words accompanying a picture of an African-American woman holding a young boy.
“It was one of the most bizarre, misplaced, awkward, and ironic things that I’ve ever seen,” John Stonestreet said, calling the meme a “shameless attempt at advertising by pretending to have some sort of empathy.”
The reality is that Planned Parenthood kills babies, and the abortion giant targets minority women in particular. The abortion rate among African-American women is 3 1/2 times that of white women, and nearly 80 percent of Planned Parenthood centers are within walking distance of minority communities, Stonestreet said.
“The history of Planned Parenthood is systemically racist,” Stonestreet said. “What it calls ‘reproductive freedom’ kills more African-Americans every year than all other causes of death combined. … They’re saddling up to be on the side of minority communities even while they’re eliminating their futures.”

Posted: Fri, 07/22/2016 07:08 pmHere's another irony. A "wanted" 12 week old baby is the most valuable and precious gift on earth. But an "unwanted" 12 week old is just a blob of worthless organs.

Posted: Sat, 07/23/2016 02:15 pmIt is amazing that those at Planned Parenthood could so blatantly use the shooting tragedies for their own benefit. And in such a weird way - somehow tying the shootings to "reproductive justice" (whatever that is supposed to mean). "... and their foolish hearts were darkened." Rom 1:21.
